The project’s partners will gather, process, produce and disseminate best practices related to European mobility items which have been developed both at a national and at a transnational level. The study subjects will be identified through a bottom-up approach that is starting from the information and training needs analysis of guidance practitioners working in a European dimension.

A survey focused on guidance practitioners information and training needs in mobility issues has been already carried out thanks to the use of a specific questionnaire which has been sent to a sample of guidance practitioners of the partner countries. Eight specific subjects have been sourced out from the analysis of these results and they will be analysed within specific transnational thematic workshops where both the project’s partners and national stakeholders will take part.

Each thematic workshop will be focused on one of the above mentioned issues. The partnership will select useful contents, materials and methodologies in each one of the eight subjects and they will produce a kit, containing both theoretical information and practical materials, useful for guidance practitioners working with mobility issues.
At present the identified subjects are the following ones:

  1. "The professional profile of the guidance practitioner working with mobility issues"
  2. "The recognition of European vocational qualifications and study titles"
  3. "The European labour market"
  4. "Networking at a European level"
  5. "Legal aspects and social issues concerning mobility within the EU labour market"
  6. "Internships/training placements in companies of the European Union"
  7. "Intercultural awareness"
  8. "Educational aspects on EU mobility"

These subjects’ contents will be adapted according to the feed-back of guidance practitioners who will evaluate the quality of contents of the thematic kits during the dissemination phase.

These final contents and tools will be selected by the partnership and gathered in a printed handbook useful for guidance practitioners working at a European level.
